The Hahn & Sohn ATS switch represents a practical solution for automatic backup power supply of buildings using a generator. The device continuously monitors the presence of mains voltage and, in the event of a power outage, automatically activates the connected generator and switches the power supply to the backup source.

• Once the mains power supply is restored, the ATS automatically switches the power back to the utility grid and safely shuts down the generator. The entire process runs fully automatically without the need for manual operation.
