General procedure for starting an LPG/petrol inverter generator
Starting on LPG only may take longer. We recommend keeping a small amount of petrol in the tank for easier initial start.
Procedure:
1. Connect the LPG hose, but do not open the cylinder valve.
2. Set the fuel selector to PETROL and open the tank vent.
3. Start the generator.
4. Once running steadily, open the LPG cylinder valve.
Important: Petrol and LPG must not be mixed during operation.

What generator output do I need for electric motors?
We recommend choosing a generator with output at least 3× higher than the motor's input due to start-up current peaks.
How do I avoid overloading the generator?
Operate the generator long-term only at its rated output. Avoid connecting devices with high start-up current.
How much fuel does a generator consume?
Consumption depends on load and power:
• Up to 1 kW: approx. 0.5 l/h
• 2–4 kW: approx. 1–2 l/h
• 5–6 kW: approx. 2–3.5 l/h

Can a generator get wet?
No. A generator must not be exposed to rain or snow. Use it only in dry environments or under a protective shelter with proper ventilation.
How to operate a generator during winter?
Let the engine warm up for a few minutes after starting, use fresh fuel and store the generator in a dry environment.
Can I use a generator with a welding machine?
Yes, but we recommend at least 5 kW generator output and following the welder manufacturer’s requirements.
Can I transport the generator on its side?
No. A generator must always be transported upright. Secure it properly to prevent tipping.
